O Bunnahabhain Vintage 1971, foi lançado pela destilaria, especialmente para comemorar o seu 125º aniversário.
Engarrafado em Outubro de 2006, após 35 anos a amadurecer, este -Bu-na-ha-venn- (boca do Rio), com 44,9%, está limitado a 750 garrafas.
Notas da Distilaria (mantemos convictamente em inglês!)
Colour: Copper gold.Nose: Creamy toffee, rich dried fruits, vanilla, sweet oak with toasted nuts, almost cognac-like with a hint of smoke.
Palate: Rich and complex with a gingery spiciness leading to heather honey, dried fruit and some chocolate with a touch of smokiness. Very well balanced.
Finish: Lightly spicy, well rounded, very long and gently drying.
