Lançamento do Ledaig 10 Years Old - Single Malt Island (Mull) Scotch Whisky

A única Destilaria existente, nos dias de hoje na Ilha de Mull, produz dois tipos de single malt bastante diferentes.

O Tobermory, que representa 50% do single malt produzido, é um whisky não turfado.

O Ledaig, representa os restantes 50% do volume total de produção da destilaria, é claramente turfado, com 35ppm malt adquiridos a Port Ellen.

A destilaria, hoje, intercala os lançamentos do Tobermory com o Ledaig.

O novo Ledaig 10 Years Old (OB), engarrafado com 40%, vem substituir o Ledaig Sherry Finish.

Colour: A bright lemony gold

Nose: Immediately pungent with sweet tar and creosote aromas that release wood smoked fragrances with hints of liquorice. Further intrigue develops from soft antiseptic hints and charred leather.

Palate: Sweet yet medicinal flavours release sparks that lead to an explosion of spicy pepper. The omnipresence of smoke subtly boasts savoury salt maltiness.

Finish: Liquorice and cloves combine into a medium length smoked pepper finale.
